Russia being at 146th place is a double layers ironic
Not sure how valid this is, but on the Corruption Perceptions Index in 2022 Ukraine beats Russia modestly. UA score was 33 out of 100; RU, 28 out of 100. For comparison, the cleanest country was Denmark at 90; the US was at 69.
I think it’s important to note that these UA-RU numbers are almost certainly diverging as UA is getting more and more serious about rooting out corruption. They obviously want to maximize citizen buy-in and loyalty in the war, and they also have their eyes on potentially joining the EU.
Yes, yes, yes… that’s all great. But what we really want to know is : Which one is closer to legalizing weed. That will sway my opinion quite a bit. Also, F Russia.
