Hi everyone
This morning my Czechoslovakian grandfather (Děda) passed away. When I was little and he’d say goodnight to me, he would say something that the closest I can amalgamate via Google translate as “Sladké sny” but to my tiny Australian child brain sounded more like “Slotchys spi”. The response would be “ty tuckey” or similar. He escaped during the communism take over of Czechoslovakia in the 50s, and regionally I think he was from a small town near Prague, so I don’t know if maybe it was a regional accent or something. I really want to get something made but also linguistically accurate for both the “sweet dreams” and “you too”. Can someone please help?

“Sladké sny” does mean “sweet dreams”. And “sladce spi” (literally meaning “sleep sweetly”), “ty taky” (“you too”)
