Sigh….
I really don´t get it. We urgently need more people studying for nurse. We should make it as attractive as possible.
It is a very practice oriented field of study, almost half of which is internship in actual institutions. This means that students are actually working for months while they are ´studying´. This means early, late and night shifts on location. And all that for free. In the last years they received a minimal compensation of 1000 euro for expenses, but now the Flemish government apparently doesn´t find that necessary anymore.
So this very limited cost for a very necessary cause is too much? I cannot understand it. What ate they doing?
