I’ve recently tried to cut back on the booze and especially beer but so hard in a country where there is such abundance of delicious beer. I saw this article on GQ today about a good one that I think is only available in the States.

So it made me wonder if any of you have found any particularly great tasting non-alcoholic local beers? I think the Jupiler 0,0 is actually not bad and the Leffe Blonde not too bad either.

The other day in a restaurant I had a very good one in very bright packaging but forgot the name.

Any others I could try?

  1. Sportzot is fairly popular from what I’ve seen.

I’d go to your local drink halls (“brouwer” in Flemish, the “Prik & tik” chain is pretty much everywhere), and just look at the options they have, and pick one of each to try?

  2. Sportzot is good.

La Chouffe without alcohol is good as well.

  3. PicoBello from Brussels Beer Project is my go to. Not too sweet as some other kinds.
