The system is broken. No one wants to talk about social care and its cost. We are paying higher and higher council tax and getting less and less.
But come on how the fuck do you owe 86.9x your income! They would need to take £11,000 off each person living there to clear their debt.
This is by design. Councils budgets have been cut and given predatory loans instead by the government and basically told to use that money to make ‘business’ for themselves.
Some councils have screwed up, some have made money. It’s almost as if councils were never setup or have the knowledge or skill set to be modern agile businesses.. but here we are.
