
Hi Reddit,
I’m usually a silent observer, but today I’m stepping out of the shadows. This is my very first post, and I’ll admit, I’m feeling a bit nervous. However, there’s something important on my mind that I believe is worth sharing and fighting my fears.
As a French citizen, I want to express my deep concern about the preservation of free speech and the promotion of artistic expression in my country and our neighbor.
It truly pains me that I can no longer access certain classic movies that played a fundamental role in my upbringing and cultural heritage due to the marketing strategies of some big corporations.
It makes me think that globalization has significantly altered our cultural landscape, erased our unique identities and made us all appear alike. It’s vital that we safeguard our cultural diversity. (I’m not speaking about politics)
I strongly believe that it’s time for a revolution in content discovery, especially as we witness the rise of censorship and content restrictions in today’s world, exacerbated by some overzealous political correctness.
We need a space where free speech and creativity can thrive.
