It’s not like they’re practicing to defend their very culture and existence…

It’s not peace time for Ukraine, I’d be fine with them training next door if that’s what i bought next too
Well they now have a very small taste of what Ukrainians are enduring constantly. It wouldnt kill you to get ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones or not live near a military facility.
Likely the complainers are the same sort of tossers that move into country houses then complain about the noise of the sheep in the farm next to them.
Totally selfish and ‘entitled’ people. Somehow, they always seem to get what they want though.
Seriously that’s like a weekly occurrence in my neighborhood, I have people shooting tannerite, others just shooting targets, in the other direction more target practice, fireworks on the regular like mortars, don’t even need to go watch fireworks they come to me. Sucks for my dogs and their anxiety, but Live Free or Die.
Maybe the complainers should go into the trenches, instead of Ukrainian soldiers

I recently read that AFU wants its infantry to get more training on dealing with orc landmines, personnel mines, booby traps with hand grenades, etc. and also how its infantry should fight against the orc drones and large amount of orc artillery during infantry basic training that the West conducts. Basically, the West should tailor its training to AFU infantry more towards how the orcs actually fight in Ukraine.
This happens a lot in the States, too. People buy a house literally against the fence of a military installation, then cry about the noise.
“Why do they have to yell so loud when doing their big running thing? Wait, they have bombs and guns, too? This is unacceptable!”

Makes sense…my mother is from the UK (even if she moved here in Italy when she married my father many years ago) and she’s like, extremely sensible to noise….especially during the night. If she hears even the softest rumor, she won’t be able to sleep all night and she will be a fury to everyone the day after because she will be stressed and angry because she didn’t sleep enough….so I just assumed this is a common feature of the majority of the english people…(other than having tea at 5 o’clock….lol)

Ok so I imagine grannies who blast their TV on 70 but can’t hear shit because of the military training 10 miles away so they drop notes through letter box in nearby base. Am I correct ?

This is dumb. For some context for those not from the UK – Lydd is in probably the least densely populated area in the whole of the south-east of England. They built a nuclear power station 5km away because virtually no-one lives there.
I say double the training.

I live close ish to Salisbury where they do a bunch of artillery training. One day I was up the shops and the rounds were making the whole shop shake. No one gives a shit, even night training is done at a reasonable time. There’s so much love for Ukraine in this neck of the woods and the UK in general. Keep fighting the good fight lads.
