I took these photos a week or so ago and felt the urge to share things like these after Heerlen recently showed up in the news as the “least happy municipality” of the Netherlands (Algemeen Dagblad, based on survey data of Statistics Netherlands).
Inb4 “What do pretty benches have to do with happiness?”
The only nice looking thing in Heerlen. Arguably the worst city in the south, even worse than Helmond.
