What is fascism?

  1. A video essay that explores characteristics and definition of generic fascism. I hope it can give some perspective and enlightenment to people here. For me it makes a case for why ethnic symbolism, and notions of national spirit should never belong in our state. It is why I am adamantly against the movement of Enosis / Taksim in Cyprus and the idea by people like Tatar that TCs and GCs are different people and can not live together.

We are currently seeing a rise in generic fascistic traits among far right parties, often violence is acceptable among these movements to get to their idealised ethno state. We need to maintain economical and political stability to not fall into the pit. I hope for us to educate the general public away from falling to lies of collectivist spirit of the nation, aesthetics and proudness of national achievements are often symptoms of fascism. While we can not establish a direct causal relationship, the correlation is there. Should we not realise that destabilisation is the third variable?

We see political parties with generic fascistic elements thriving in instability. Famously a party member / spokesperson (not sure) of a far right party (AfD) in Germany has said “instability of Germany, benefits our party”. I am afraid the same is happening with ELAM and the refugee issues that sparked into violence recently.

Sorry for the toilet ramblings, I successfully defecated so I will stop writing now.

  2. Fascism is when you want illegal occupiers out of your country and when you make a connection between immigrants and crime /s

  3. Fascism will be the ideology of Tajikistani Strovolos enclave following the Cypro-Bangladeshi war in 2027.

  4. do we have any TC version of ELAM that we should also be aware? or I guess its Turkey itself?
