  1. “A ban on vehicles with Russian licence plates entering the EU via the external border has come into force in Estonia and Latvia.

The ban is a result of a clarification issued by the European Commission on September 8, according to which cars purchased or registered in Russia cannot be allowed to enter the EU.

Lithuania imposed the ban on Russian cars entering Lithuania, except in transit to and from Kaliningrad, on Monday.

Meanwhile, in Latvia, the ban on vehicles registered in Russia entering the EU through the Latvia-Russia and Latvia-Belarus border checkpoints came into force at 18:00 on Tuesday, the LETA news agency reported.

The ban on vehicles with Russian license plates entering Estonia also came into force at 10:00 on Wednesday”

  2. Good!

All EU countries should do it!

Of course, I expect that Hungary and Austria will not, for obvious reasons.
