Interesting that Nottinghamshire Live also publicised this competition in an article / interview with the owner of the property (Elliot Andrew – the first link in OP’s article) but seemingly didn’t mention the caveat about ticket sales when telling people how to enter.
According to another reddit post, this particular house is a very expensive air bnb.
Sounds like a very misleading competition. We need legislation to stop this kind of thing.
It was heavily promoted by Nottinghampost, and I frequently received social media ads for it. Kind of not shocked that it turned out to be a ruse.
