  1. I wish we lived in a timeline where this article would have a positive connotation cause AI is being used responsibly and to the benefit of humanity instead of just the benefit of the rich who seek to replace not just factory workers but artists of all kinds as well.

Still. I have hope that in the end, AI will be a net positive for humanity.

This IS the path to our future. It’s just how we pave said path that is not so great.

  2. This one hits me deeply. With AI coming to play, things get even harder. It was harder enough as a “normal” individual, but now one must become utterly exceptional to not get replaced. AI doesn’t ask for raises, vacations, days off, etc. It’s the most efficient 24/7 worker for businesses and it costs them less than a human. Scary stuff indeed. A lot of people are already losing their jobs in my country.

  3. AI in and of itself isn’t the issue if its regulated.

In a place like a manufacturing factory where I work we use AI where we can. But machines can only do tasks not jobs. If that frees someone up we don’t sack them just redeploy them elsewhere and use the free body to increase production, process and the likes
