  1. She’s next. Both need to go. And the entire Gardai organisation needs to be rebuilt.

  2. She’s undermining actual Gardai with this statement. She needs to go

  3. Course she does, not a clue between the man is not fit for purpose when the gardai are at all an all time low, Government I know what we’ll do let’s dig in our heels and support the commissioner nobody wants.

  4. So in other words, government make it clear they don’t give a shit about the wellbeing of the police force, or the rule of law. Good to remove the doubt.

  5. “We’re going to underline our drive for recruitment by not firing the boss that 97% of rank and file garda hate”

  6. The last sentence that was heard before the grim reaper appeared is “I have full confidence in”

  7. do these cunts ever red team their own decisions!? the gaurds don’t have faith in mr. MI5, time for a fresh approach

  8. I’ve no idea what’s going on in the Guards but whatever Harris is doing to upset everyone is clearly government sanctioned.

  9. Charlie Flanagan must feel great disappointment in the rank and file at this development.

Is there anything to be said for going back to the RIC? /s

  10. “he believed that the membership of the Garda Representative Association were confused about the question”

Have you ever heard such patronizing bollox in all your life. It’s nearly as bad as his interview on prime time where he said mass resignations were due to guards wanting to travel. No wonder 98% of guards want him gone.

  11. She just said that the vote was personal on the news. So in a sense she thinks it’s a vendetta against the commissioner and that the 9,000 or so members of the force who voted no confidence are wrong. Way to make allies. She’s way out of her depth and should be sacked too.

  12. 98% no confidence vote gets McEntees full support haha

She’d probably poll similar numbers herself tbf
