Ukraine, a first in its history and without a navy has destroyed a russian submarine. The destroyed B-237 “Rostov-on-Don” diesel-electric submarine is one of the newest submarines in the russian fleet.

    Russia losing one of its newest subs is significant damage.

    The black sea fleet has lost a sub and flagship. These are not small or insignificant losses.

  6. Unless russians dismantle it, there is a good chance it will remain in Crimea indefinitely, even after russians leave. Can’t really move it…

  7. If Moskva was promoted from frigate to submarine, what could we promote the Rodtov-on-don to?
