Developer in ‘significant financial difficulty’ asks families to pay €60,000 on top of agreed sale price to finish homes

2. The development company appears to be owned by a Joe Elias, at least according to *Fame*. He has had some interesting previous directorships:

3. New neighbour of mine had building halted after Christmas ’22. Found out after they moved in that they’d to pay an extra 70K for the contractor to finish the job!

   A full housing estate here in town (400 units) was halted for over a year at only the groundbreaking stage, also due to rising costs.

4. If only developers knew this in advance somehow…

5. How else could the developers be expected to make their ridiculous profits?
