actual solar output hasnt grown as fast this year,but this is because last year solar output was **exceptionally high due to the historic drought**
this summer has been cloudier and rainier,and river levels at the Rhine are at normal years level
nonetheless,solar has still grown a lot,**and we will overtake total solar production of 2021 by end of this week**
and on the flipside,wind output was much higher this summer than last summer,so weather differences canceled themselves out
solar subsidies are also n**early 7 times lower than in 2004,so we spent less on subsidies this year than 19 years ago despite much more solar instalations**
Is Germany still weirdly anti nuclear or did the war change that mindset?
Meanwhile the rest of EU, and specially eastern one, barely makes any progress due to corruption and blockages at every corner

Meanwhile this morning at 5 am, Germany was emitting an impressive 645 gCO^2/kWh.
They were producing 2,81 GW of wind power out of 66,5 GW installed.
They were producing 0 GW of solar power out of 69,1 GW installed.

You could literally install 10 times the amount of both wind and solar and in situations like these Germany would still need to cover their electricity needs with fossil fuels, which is why their emissions spike so hard.
The sad thing is that most of these panals are probably from here but chinese imports
