Hey, I was curious, how has the situation at the Russian border changed since February 2022? I was surprised to read hat border crossings still happen at all. So what exactly is holding back the government from following the Baltic States? Perhaps it’s because many businesses in Finnmark would be forced into bankruptcy.
Obviously, the Baltics and the Finns, but especially the Baltics, have more historical trauma than Norway does, which is why they are much more likely to shut their borders as much as possible.
