    Austria is legally allowed to its veto in how it see fits last time i checked ( romainia may not like it)

    they never legally had to follow recommendations of the EU institutions it was just convention that countries did

  3. The case should be thrown out. It’s ridiculous. The Netherlands and Austria, like every other member, have every right to veto.

    We’ve used the veto too for blocking the EU-Canada trade deal until visa requirements were lifted for Romanian citizens entering Canada.

  4. We have every right to veto. Thats a ridiculous threat that wont lead anywhere. I would suggest you tackle our concerns instead.

  7. Please do! It’s such a shame that Bulgaria is not more active on this, but I guess that’s now a big difference between BG and RO – we still have this slave mentality (this is what we deserve) and RO seems to have escaped it and now actively stand up for themselves.
