  1. Maybe they ran out of meat? I think they probably had to move resources from the Kupiansk direction to the southern front.

  2. Oh no. What if next year they learned the basics of strategy? At this rate, in ten years the Russians might have a tactic that isn’t garbage!

  5. This is bad news, they are actually putting someone competent

  6. It’s unfortunate they were able to use the Kupiansk direction to pin 43, 32, 88, 21, 41 mech brigades that were meant for the counter offensive. That being said them being used for prevent a russian breakthrough in that direction is still a good thing.

  7. The new tactic is wait for more people to send, then return to known tactic

  8. Before the mud season, they are trying to pin Ukrainian troops and hold as much as they can, build more defenses, delay delay delay until spring when they will have more North Korean stuff, more fresh troops, etc.

    Putin may also be angling for a better negotiating position.
