Hello doctors! I am from the Philippines. Our curriculum is the same with the USA (4 years pre med course and 4 years medical proper). I am currently in my second year of pre-med course BS Biology. Currently I am planning to continue to medicine even if it’s around 10 years at most. I would like to inquire if after those years, Germany would still have the same process or would they already restrict foreign doctors? Would there be a surplus of doctors in the future in Germany? I have read that there would be a surplus in 2030, but I am not sure if this is a trend now. Here is a link: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29357954/#:~:text=For%20each%20country%20in%20the,23%20OECD%20countries%20in%202030.

The reason why I am asking this question is for me to study German as soon as possible. I hope to hear opinions from you.

PS: I know that many would suggest for me to focus on my studies first, but I am just here to hear your perspectives so that I can already prepare and would be easier for me if ever I would migrate into other countries.
