again, I keep seeing people cheering that ATACMS are being delivered/ decision has been made, but its only a boy who cried wolf, it’s not delivered until it’s delivered. over a effing year now and “ATACMs has been decided” has so far been bullshit carrots on sticks.
Ukraine could be closer to ATACMS but they are already in the launcher and being moved into their firing positions
slava Ukraini
🙏
With Zelenskyy meeting Biden at the White House soon, it’s pretty obvious that ATACMS are going to be a primary point of discussion. With official statements now saying that Ukrainian strikes within Russia using ATACMS would be Ukraines’ decision to make, they’ve made clear that Ukraine is going to be getting a longer proverbial leash with how they use American weapons. It seems that the Biden administration is trying to distance themselves from being responsible for this escalation while still enabling the escalation. That said, it’s a bit of a smokescreen because they can’t be guided without direct US involvement. So it’s a complicated story to tell, and I expect it to get hammered out before Zelenskyy leaves the US.

More delivering
