2. A Spanish breed of bulldog nearly killed a 9 year old boy near me last November. I can’t understand people who argue against banning these types of dogs. People say the dogs are fine if they have a good owner but it’s too much of a risk. If my Westie went wild and attacked someone they’d get a scratch or maybe a bite mark that barely breaks the skin. If a bulldog goes wild it either kills or grievously injures someone. You might aswell make owning a Tiger legal.

   I don’t think that banning them in UK will increase the demand though.

   Ireland doesn’t have a list of banned dogs but there is a list of restricted breeds.

   The XL bully by being a cross or mixture of the American Pitt Bull Terrier would be a restricted dog.
