  1. I can be wrong but i think he first posted it on r/mineislam which is a turkish anti islamist subreddit. He is just a 19 years old dude..

Conservative muslims will whine about this for the next century or so. Even though they have been in power for more than two decades now, their victim complex know no bounds.

  2. The man who killed his own brother and spent 7 years in prison, then raped one of the 2 children, killed the other, cooked from their bones and meat and served those dishes to the family of the child he killed and to the police trying to find that child, is free, but the person who drank alcohol in the mosque is under arrest. 🤔

  3. I am also from an average conservative family but after 20 years with Erdoğan, I became Islamophobic

  4. Erdogan is taking Turkiye back to Middle Ages, this is just another step towards Islamic fascism.

  5. It is pretty stupid to do that in the first place, but the imsane reaction is even crazier

  6. Yep. This is Islam.

Meanwhile, one can bash Christianity and nobody will do anything about it. Because ‘muh freedom of expression’. One can even bash Christianity at the official level in a Christian country and he will be applauded for his “bravery” by his fellow comrades.

But it’s the Christianity which is most oppressive religion out there.

  7. How to emigrate as a Turk in 2023:

    1) Take a photo with booze in a mosque

    2) Fly to some normal country

    3) Post the photo on all of your social media accounts

    4) Seek asylum

    5) ???

    6) Profit

  8. I mean idk what he’s being arrested for in particular but it is a pretty stupid thing to do and could be perceived in a hostile manner. If this happened in my country (Cyprus) I would want the individual looked into too. Probably not imprisoned but at the very least a warning since he went inside the place itself

I think this sub can be a bit of sn echo chamber when it comes to things like this. Most people I know would see this as an unacceptable act

  9. I mean, arresting is a bit far, maybe a restriction from religious buildings and a fine would be more appropriate. But intentionally disturbing people in their designated places of prayer is not ok.
