If the VDV are so depleted that they need fresh conscripts to replenish them, are those new troops really VDV in anyway other than name? Doubt it.
Must really suck for those “ruzzian elite soldiers” to be used as normal cannonfodder meatshields to just fill the gaps and be stuck in trenches and mud.
