It took this long to rule on an episode back in March?
3 confirmed breaches, 6 still in progress, dare I ask at what point does Ofcom consider a channel in beach rather than a specific program? Surely at some point it’s obviously deliberate from a regulators perspective?
Good, sitting politicians should never be the sole presenters of a ‘news’ programme, and certainly not be there to circlejerk their party policy.
The fact that GB “news” has consistently been a loss-making enterprise but still remains on the air should tell us everything we need to know about why it exists and what the motives for keeping it on our screens are. It’s not a news channel any more than Fox “news” in the USA is – it’s a political front organisation which would be more at home on Tufton Street.
