This scares me. They were missing for possibly 3 years. Every so often there will be a welfare check on someone who’s died and been left undiscovered for decades. Makes you wonder if you will face the same fate and what life is like prior to it

It seems weird whoever made this statement hadn’t met or talked with them for the last couple of years, or else they would have known something happened. Maybe they had some family conflicts which led to no contact for a while.
