Look like a [triangulate cobweb spider](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangulate_cobweb_spider).
The most “dangerous” spiders in Germany are those of the [Kreuzspinne](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Araneus) species.
The worst they could do to you is bite you which would be less hurting than a wasp sting. Most species of “Kreuzspinne” can’t even penetrate human skin though.
I have never been bitten by one and no person I know ever has been.
So no need to get the Flammenwerfer. 😉
Fortunately there are no dangerous spiders im germany!
I am living in Germany for 35 years and until this year i have never seen this spider before. Thanks now i know what spider this is.
Not dangerous but they like to go into dark, narrow and somewhat damp places. So just make sure that you keep your mouth closed while sleeping.
The most dangerous species in Germany are those ticks out in the woods because they can spread diseases like TBE (FSME in german, there’s a vaccine out) and lyme disease (Borreliose in german, sasly no vaccine yet available).
And maybe some of those uneducated dogs out there.
But be sure that taking part in the normal daily traffic is much more dangerous than Germanys flora and fauna.
You really don’t need to worry about spiders in Germany. Unless they’re invasive or escaped pets, there are no medically significant spider bites to find.
The only thing this lovely specimen will do is leave a shitton of cobwebs, so maybe place them outside.
Or keep them, because honestly the mosquitos this year are hell, and spiders are good biological warfare against these bastards.
Ok, let the downvotes commence!
Hey, OP, would you consider doing me and other users a favour? Arachniphobia is an, in comparison, pretty common phobia. A pic like this just suddendly showing up while scrolling can be pretty jarring. Would you mind marking this pic NSFW? Then, it would be blurred on the main page. It would be a really nice thing, for those affected.
And everyone that wants to tell me
a)what NSFW means: i know what it means
b)that that is mot what that tag is there for: yeah, i know
c) that it is not appropriate to demand this: i am not demanding, i am just asking. OP can ignore me if they want to, that is totally within their rights.
d)”but then we would have to ban all pics, in case someone is afraid of mountains!!1!”: again,i am not demanding or calling for a ban. Also, i would argue that the amount of people getting shocked by s pic of a mountain is *a lot* smaller than those getting shocked by a very detailed pic of a spider.
