Are there any parking laws for how much space to leave on each side of a driveway? People regularly park partially blocking my driveway. Today, for example (see picture) I have to use my neighbor’s driveway to angle straight in. In my last city, cars had to leave one meter on each side of the driveway.
Second, if there is a law about parking like this, how do I communicate it to drivers? Where I used to live, it was common to paint your curb red for one meter on each side to indicate the required spacing.
