    CAROLUS IMPERATOR
    IIII REX BOEMIE ME FEC
    IT ET H. RORAW PRO
    CURATOR HOSPITALIS
    PRESENTIS ET NACIO
    NIS BOHEMORUM RUIN
    OSUM REFECIT ANNO
    MCCCCLVII

    Translated as:

    >Charles IV, Emperor and king of the Bohemians, made me, and H. Roraw, head of the hospice and of the Bohemian community, repaired this ruin in the year 1457.

    An hospice was not what we call hospice today, but rather a building made for pilgrims.
