Poor-quality Russian tank mock-ups can be easily identified with a drone

  1. RuZZian decoy tank with a deflated cannon.

    That’s actually pretty accurate.

  2. Behold, a new generation of Ukrainian recon drones armed with 20 darts each.

    Pfft… Pfft… Pfft… Pfft… Pfft… <tink>

    “That one.”

  3. I think this is misleading. If the drone gets close enough, sure. But from a greater distance? Doubtful…

  4. Was this North Korea’s contribution, or was it Ali Express?

  5. This is a chance for AI to shine, instead of tricking people in 1000 ways.

  6. Now I have an idea for a tank camouflage that makes it look inflated.

  7. Too bad this got out to the press. Would have been much better kept under wraps by UA forces and intelligence. Why teach Moscovia how to not fk up?

  8. I really hope the Ukrainians drop wooden bombs on them like the Allies did during WW2 to mock up Axis air fields.

  9. Honestly not that poor quality. Now they know what to look for it makes it easier, but at 2x or 4x the distance it becomes harder to discern.

  10. Should drop a tiny marble sized ball of thermite on them. Just enought to burn them and deflate them so they are out of the way. A marble sized ball of thermite would probably cost well under a dollar versus thousand for these mock ups.

  11. Pretty obvious they are not real tanks. No open hatches. Russian’s always seem to leave the hatches open when they leave a tank parked.

  12. Gonna do the english thing of dropping a mock bomb on it.

  13. My 12 years old son saw it for what it was…
    12 years old child.
This is how stupid Russians are…

  14. But I really want to see one deflate! Drop a lawn dart on it

  15. Thinking maybe it is still worth it to drop a cheap granade on those, just to make sure no one else wastes anything more expensive on them later on.
