This piece of shit repeatedly hunted down and raped the 13yo girl in a park, got no jail time. This country is pathetic.
Why are rapists avoiding jail while people get custodial sentences for things said online?
So not only did that judge release the rapist because he was too young, he also cocked up his directions to the jury. The man is not only a disgrace to justice he’s also fucking incompetent.
So this guy raped a girl in a park and avoided jail time but people are being arrested and chucked in jail for things said/ graffiti etc. It doesn’t make sense.
So by the sentencing guideline, under 25 rape is acceptable in the UK. What a fucking nice thing to learn today.
Basically; rape is fine, it’s not a criminal offence anymore, not even a minor one.
“The girl had been diagnosed with PTSD and underwent three years of counselling after the attacks.”
Man, she has more of a sentence than he ever did.
“Lord Lake said if Hogg had committed rape when he was over 25 he would have been jailed for four or five years”
He was given 270 hours of unpaid work.
All you get for rape in Scotland is to do 2 months of free work? Wow, very fucking hard. Unless he is getting severely beaten everyday and emotionally tortured that is not a “punishment” at all.
Vigilante justice is looking more likely and admittedly tempting everyday…
It is impossible to understand what exactly happened.There are no details on what the jury found, it might be they weren’t sure if he was guilty:
“We now know that at the trial, the lawyers and the judge Lord Lake realised the jury’s verdict was legally unsound but Hogg was sentenced anyway.”
And the Crown Prosecutor seems to be at a bad position relative to the appeal, so it is highly likely the decision will be quashed, you just need to read the BBC analysis.
