MP Dineage – chair of media, culture and sports, who is also married to Mark Lancaster, previous commander of 77th brigade that specialices in propaganda through the use of social media – has called total demonetization of Russell Brand because of rape allegations.
Can’t say I blame Rumble for all it’s faults, the letter is disturbing as it’s the first real evidence that politicians do try get peoples silenced without them going through due process.
Think what you want of Russell but everything so far is an allegation until proven in court. The MPs letter is disgusting.
this is 6 days old, and was posted at the time. why is it being posted again now?
Rumble has been reasonably steadfast in resisting pressure to censor or cooperate with the whims of tyrants. Let us hope that resistance endures.
Interesting take on the matter. A predictable one, but interesting nonetheless.
Russell being demonetised on YouTube from allegations and all of you are too stupid to see the tyranny right in front of your face.
“Demonetisation” – he’s broadcasting his own contempt of court charge.
It’s the same reason we don’t put all charged criminals on national TV to protest their innocence to a crowd of fans waiting with baited breathe – its literally the opposite of what needs to happen.
He shouldn’t be able to *make money off protesting his innocence* when the Crown Prosecution Service only charge <5% of rape cases because they don’t think they can get a conviction.
If they *do* think they can – that means you’re one of the unlucky rapists.
Seeing as rape is the most underreported crime, and less than <5% get charged – if you get charged that means you did it.
Brand’s entire schtick is being a sex pest – the idea that he can deny it now after grifting off it for a decade is laughable.
I do not blame Rumble for acting that way. They are a private company and are free to operate as they see fit within the law. I also have to say, that MPs should not be interfering in the affairs of companies and citizens, he hasn’t been convicted yet. I do, however, feel that the law should be tightened to prevent disinformationists like him from spouting utter nonsense.
She’s a very arrogant woman the MP that write the letter . I don’t like the look of her and I trust her less with our civil liberties.
It should be law that somebody cannot be deplatformed for legal accusations. I’m not excusing RB, don’t even know the dude, but what happened to the legal process and the whole innocent until proven guilty?
You get an allegation thrown your way and tech companies can just rip away your income within a couple of clicks. Like what how is that allowed
