The Olympics are a great reason to put in place needed infrastructure.
I think it’s a good move and high time since Poland has never hosted.
Poland’s grown a lot in the last 2 decades and by 2036 will be well positioned to host the games, especially with infrastructure like the new CPK airport and HSR like Rail Baltica being built.
I think it would also be a good positive for region, especially after these tense regional times come to an end it would be nice to have something positive to look forward to.
You know what, I would normally consider it a dreadful waste of money, but if humanity is still in a position to give a shit about sports in 2036, I suppose that would be a reason to celebrate.

I’m totally against it. We are going to spend millions on useless olympic infrastucture but all significant profits will be taken by IOC. Fantastic deal.
I can’t stand that disgusting sport organisations (IOC, Fifa, Uefa etc.) and i don’t want my country to fund their business.
They can organize that circus with totalitarian states and oil magnates. Normal states should focus on actual development.
By 2036 Poland will be insolvent from all that overspending on shamelessly buying votes and paying PiS families millions for existing.
Next week: Poland is going to land on Moon, later in October: we are going to Mars.
