Five Guys is really good but it sits in such a weird place, because everything is cooked fresh there’s often a fairly long wait time, especially in busy restaurants. So you end up paying restaurant prices and waiting restaurant times for what is meant to be fast food, it’s hard to justify.
if its about 8 quid for a burger (single patty, no chips or drink), what crazy premium will people have to pay in an airport?
Deffo overrated. £5 I think it is in my nearest branch for a coke, piss take.
If it was burger, chips and drink for a tenner I’d go but not at the current prices as I don’t feel like I’m getting value for money.
They’re pushing their prices up and it’s not worth it. I was in their Brussels branch a few weeks back and they were charging €8 for chips. It’s going to collapse soon.
Their prices are ridiculous. I could make 3-4 burgers with the same less cost at home.
I had it last year, burger near on tasted the same as the ones I make, and I just use Aldi lean mince and salt and pepper.
Chips were nice I will say, but should be half the price.
No I won’t be going again that’s for sure.
I took my kids to five guys because they raved about it. It was over priced shit. At least McDonald’s is cheap shit.

The burgers a good value if you add a bunch of the “free” toppings but if you want a plain burger then it’s overpriced and doesn’t taste much better than cheaper fast food burgers.
Over priced, rather mediocre burgers. Decent chips though.
So many better places for a burger fix nowadays.
I like their milkshakes. You can add bacon to them.
