I reckon bus drivers carry the tension from incidents like that throughout the whole day. I always get the vibe from the drivers on my route that they’re like bouncers waiting to unload on ya. This explains why when you see the shit they deal with.
He didnt even say thanks getting off the bus, what is this country coming to?
And they wonder why they can’t get the staff.
They should be issued tazers
This happens way more than people think.
At first, I thought this was about taking Dublin bus, and I couldn’t have agreed more. Then I realised what it really was, and still I couldn’t have agreed more.
Hopefully the poor driver doesn’t cop any heat for this. Passengers could have at least gave him a bualadh bos (pardon the pun)
Should have been a round of applause for the driver. Fair play to him.
100% need to stand behind bus drivers with this stuff.
While nobody deserves to be threatened on their job, bus drivers are as essential to society as anyone could be, 100% need to be supported. I was working as a frontline healthcare worker all through covid and simply wouldn’t have been able to get to work without bus drivers, many others were in the same situation. Dublin city was empty during peak covid except healthcare workers, food shop employees and public transport workers. Healthcare workers got a lot of kudos during covid but other essential workers like bus drivers didn’t get the same appreciation but it is definitely deserved.

Oh will ya.. Will ya
Should be banned from all.public transport and his social taken off him.
They should have awards for drivers like this
Poor Mick will probably lose his job over that 🤬
Feel sorry for the bus driver having to deal with that scumbag. Probably wrecked the passengers heads beforehand. This only puts people off using public transport too.
