Hello there. I’ve applied for a residence permit as a student and I have a general question. I have a status as a student and I applied for a residence permit. In the section of showing finances, my inspector says that I need to have the amount it covers till the end of my studies which is 31.03.2026. For me this is impossible to have in my bank account, however, I have a job which allows me to be financially stable in Poland. The thing is, can I show the job contract and the paychecks that I got paid to the government and would it be valid? Did someone do something like that? The paper is attached to the post. I’m worried even though it’s written in the paper itself from the government.

  1. The second underlined sentence roughly translates to “If you’re working, you can show us your current employment contract (umowa o pracę) or fee-to-task contract (umowa zlecenia)”, presumably as a proof of being able to sustain yourself until that date in 2026.
