The vibe in that part of town has been weird lately, but maybe that’s just because I’m living out of Dublin but I had the weirdest encounter on Molesworth St not long ago. I was eating in Six By Nico and looking out towards the street and noticed a group of young lads scoping out the bikes on the bike rack.
It was absolutely pissing rain so I thought it was odd that they’d be arsed being out in it, but they noticed me staring at them and legitimately started making out what I could only describe as gang signs to me and running their finger across their throat.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation.
