Hey guys, I have been working part-time as a courier driver in Wolt for the last 3 months. I put in my two-week notice last week since I’ve got a new job. I took sick leave due to some health issues a couple of days ago and submitted the krankenbescheinigung. But I’ve got this email from the employer stating they won’t pay for it. Is this anyway legal? And what options do I have?

I think they are trying to shift their responsibility on you. If they do not trust the legitimacy of the sick note, *they* have to contact your insurance company and start a dispute process.
The note is basically valid until it’s proven not to be, not the other way around.
A lawyer, maybe? Your employer can not simply withhold sick pay and tell you they don’t believe you. Go to a lawyer, dude.
