It sound to me more like something dropped to wink at the far right – I think that the majority of these people are second generation immigrants, born and raised in Sweden. Where are they going to send them in reality? To Gotland?

Sounds like a strange leap. From no conviction to a deportation. It still has to go through the legal framework. Can’t do steps like that based on suspicion.
Also, from what I know of illegal immigrants their original country often doesn’t accept their citizens back. How are you going to deport them if their country of origin doesn’t accept them?
And if they are not illegal but just criminal then the Swedish legal system has to be able to process them. If they lack the capacity, then that should be a focus to improve upon.
