More money aside from the constantly increasing VAT returns on the constantly rising fuel costs? More than the motor tax? More than the tax on motor insurance? More than the tax on road tolls, parking, servicing and maintenance? More than the VRT that makes us a laughing stock?

What am I saying? Clearly silly of me to think that all of this tax revenue generated by vehicle owners would go towards improving roads and infrastructure.
