Additional funding requests from Protect A Volunteer-including money for a drone for the 30th Brigade to honor Bodya, a friend of one of our Ukrainian volunteers we support. We’re focused on several needs this week so donations to PayPal will fund some of these.

    Protect A Volunteer is a donor matching platform but we also have our own [PayPal fund](https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=CLFN53FZKSDY4) to support urgent or special requests.

    We are focused on supporting a few volunteers through our PayPal this week. Some of the donations made there will go towards these needs as well as other urgent or special requests.

    Funding for:

    1. A Ukrainian volunteer we support wants to buy a drone in honor of her friend Bodya (1st & 2nd pictures) who was killed by the Russians. He was a 23 year old platoon commander in the 30th Brigade. He asked her for help buying a drone after theirs was shot down by a Russian sniper. He said drones help them stay alive. Sadly, the same sniper killed Bodya the next day. She wants to get the team a new drone and name it Bodya who will watch over their team and keep them alive. Drone costs around $1920.
    2. Another military volunteer from Europe (3rd picture) needs some funds to cover his expenses until his military pay comes in. He switched units which causes a bureaucratic snafu and delays in getting salary so he could use some help with living expenses.
