From what I’ve read ‘tässä’ is used as ’here’ for a small area. But Duolingo gave me this and now I’m confused…

Any help would be appreciated!

Kiitos!

  1. From what i understand tässä is like ” I want to live in this country”. If you say for example I live in a blue house it would be “minä asun tässä sinisessä talossa”.

  2. tässä is usually used for a confined and specific space.

Finland is pretty small compared to the whole globe

  3. Tässä on this case is just “in this”.

    Finland, Suomi

    in Finland, Suomessa

    This, Tämä

    in this, tässä
