Yes cannabis use among teenagers can lead to misuse and health issues down the line, more of a reason to legalise it, then have a ten year mandatory sentence for anyone found supplying it to those under the age of 18.
I don’t smoke it anymore as I did develop an addiction to it when I was younger and it was horrible but
I’ve friends who don’t drink because they developed an addiction to it when they were younger.
I’ve friends who don’t gamble because they developed addictions to it when they were younger.
I like a drink and a bet with no issues.
Some people can smoke a joint and live normal addiction free lives.
The minority of people using cannabis will become addicted to it just like alcohol or gambling but those who can enjoy it in moderation should not be penalised as by and large it is fairly harmless.
And so say all of us.
Everybody knows a person that’s been negatively impacted by cannabis. Yes, alcohol and smoking are legal and far more dangerous. Yes, cannabis should be legal. But it is harmful in some ways

In the article it also mentioned drug driving and people being 5 times over the limit for cannabis, what they fail to mention is the limit is not set to a realistic amount.
