There’s probably not too many mountain bike fans on here. But felt I have to share news as this is an unbelievable achievement for the two lads. Oisin O’Callaghan from Limerick and Ronan Dunne have just gone 1st and 2nd at the Downhill World Cup in Snowshoe USA.
Being a niche sport within a niece sport downhill mountain biking gets little to no support and it’s a small group or racers and voulenteers that keep it alive here and we’re not exactly known for our massive mountains . So to see two of our riders reach the top two steps of the podium is just unbelievable.
