What really needs to happen is reduce the standing charges balance that across the usage, so people can be a lot more in control of their bills.
So down £577 on last year (for average households) but as there’s a lot less government support (the extra 66 quid a month last year year as an example), I can imagine most households won’t be doing any better than last year, if not worse with the current cost of other things…
