How does this thing work?

1. You get a plug that fits into the socket (ikea sells them, any electronic store etc) and then you cut the chord of the lamp you want and pair it with the new plug. Pair brown wire to brown wire and blue to blue and screw them tight and you’re done. Very simple.

2. That looks like a “kronuttag” where you have two live pins and one neutral. The two live pins are controlled by different switches and it is (or was) usually used for lamps where you could turn on different parts individually, like a chandelier.
   It does not have a ground connection.
