  1. Sorry for Armenia. Neither the US nor EU could have prevented that. Turkey would have boycotted any intervention and supply from their side. Iran too.

  3. Got to say, I was an ardent Remainer when it came to Brexit and we aren’t doing too hot, but the EU’s red-tape paralysis and bickering doesn’t make a great argument either. What’s the point in a Union if it’s not protecting its members?

    Edit: Shown to be incorrect in Armenia being a member. Still confused as to why EU was expected to act, in which case.

  5. How many times does this need to be said, the European Union has no influence over that region and they couldn’t have done anything that would have prevented the 2023 Azerbaijani offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh.

    The only force that could have prevented this were Russian Peace keeping troops and they failed miserably.

  8. It’s sad, but this won’t solve anything, since the conflict is basically over and all that’s left is to draft a peace agreement. Neither the EU or the US would have intervened when it’s against their interests, so trying to demonise Bruxelles just seems counterproductive at this point.
