  2. It’s impossible to protect all the energy infrastructure in such a big country. In the end the system can probably survive but the costs of repair/rebuilding will be enormous. Ukraine needs to have the ability to hit the Russian energy sector with the same intensity, in this case they can dissuade Russians from starting this anti-energy campaign this winter.

    Why did Hitler not use chemical weapons? Not because the allies had some effective defense against it, but because the nazies knew that their enemies would respond in kind.
