I wonder if these Ukrainian families were misled in terms of what to expect in Ireland, or is this a result of countries like Poland and Germany not being as hospitable to refugees as they were several months ago?
All those who insisted on bringing in more people than we have accommodation for should be required to house them in their spare bedrooms and second/third homes.
Putting people in tents is unacceptable.
This is hardly news, but we really shouldn’t be taking any more refugees we can’t properly or safely accommodate.
I wonder is there someone who took a load of acid at electric picnic and wandered into the woods and they’re now sitting in the refugee camp mellowing out and very confused, but wondering if they still have a chance to see The Script.
We have taken a hundred odd thousand refugees,the Brits have taken in two hundred thousand. Germany has taken a million,the French have similar numbers to the Brits.
Not saying we shouldn’t take more,but we’ve done our bit.

There must be many cruise liners not in use during the winter in norway etc ?
They could be in Dublin in a week.
