Someone at John Lewis must’ve received the Q3 report. Running the company must be a nightmare for her in this climate, especially with her attitude to business.
I hope her replacement is a lot more competent.
It’s almost like putting someone with no retail experience in charge of a huge retailer, in the most challenging circumstances imaginable wasn’t a good idea.
I used to work at the JL head office and know lots of people there still, the common view internally is that it’s a diversity hire gone wrong.
